Compromised of 23 geographic Districts as well as one Area – wide Spanish Speaking District.

Elected, trusted servants from A.A. Groups the Group Service Representatives (GSRs), other service committee members, and general members from the Fellowship of Alcoholics Anonymous meet quarterly for conducting Area 1 Affairs. In addition, every other year, elected GSRs and Committee Members elect a delegate to the General Service Conference, and Area Committee Officers.
